Autumn in the Mountains 2008

September 27th, the morning of Autumn in the Mountains 2008 dawned cloudy and chilly. Combine this with a gas shortage in Western North Carolina and the outlook for AITM looked grim. But don't under estimate the resiliency and enthusiasm of the British Car owner. Over 80 British cars made it to Jackson Park in Hendersonville, NC for the show. By mid morning the sun was shining and the event was in full swing.

During the day in addition to a People's Choice judging of the cars, there was a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds of the show go to Meals on Wheels of Henderson and Buncombe counties.

At the end of the event prizes were awarded in each class along with Best in Show. This years Best in Show winner was a 1949 Triumph 2000 Roadster owned by Jeri & Hermann Schaller. See photos below.

All members of the British Car Club of Western North Carolina would like to thank our sponsors for help in making AITM 2008 such a success!
