Autumn in the Mountains 2007 — A British Car Gathering, took place on October 6th at Chimney Rock State Park, Chimney Rock, NC. After several days of rainy weather, the sky cleared by mid morning and the sun shown on The Meadow where over 90 British cars and their owners gathered to talk about and to see outstanding examples of British Cars.
The field was composed of British cars from every manufacturer, amoung them MINIs, MGs, Triumphs, Lotus and Rolls Royce. Every type of car represented was an excellent example of that marque.
Those who gathered to see the cars participated in voting for the People's Choice awards along with Best of Show. You can see photos of the event on this Web site. We thank Keith Leonard and Joyce Adams for taking these photos.
Autumn in the Mountains is a charity event and BCCWNC would like to thank our sponsors Century MINI, Old English Cars and Jaguar/Land Rover Asheville for their support. Meals on Wheels of Buncombe and Henderson Counties will be the recipients of the proceeds of the event.
